Ashley is still suffering from her pup’s death (I’m still so sorry for your loss), but she did some to cheer herself and her husband up: both got Maui tattoos at DRAGON in New York City. Previously DRAGON has done Ashley’s butterfly tattoo (last September) and now the Maui writing on her arm. Chris, Ashley’s husband, got a puppy paw on his hand. Besides Ashley did some interviews while in New York yesterday (June 24).
A few days back Ashley shared on social media “I need time” and everyone was thinking about what may have happened. Today she revealed that her beautiful dog Maui, who has been in all of our lives for such a long time, has sadly passed away. Maui was more than a dog to Ashley. Through good and bad Maui was there to help Ashley through it all. She was like a baby, a best friend and a soulmate. The team of Ashley Tisdale Source sends out all the loves and prayers to Ashley, Chris and their families. This loss is tragic and we’re devasted to hear. Via Instagram Ashley shared:
I don’t even know how to say this. This pain is the worst pain I’ve ever felt. Maui was my soulmate, the connection was unlike any other. She didn’t care who I was and what I did, she just loved me unconditionally. @cmfrench and I knew with Maui she wasn’t just a dog she was something special. She had the purest soul. I know dogs don’t live as long as we do but why not? I wanted more time with her. I wasn’t ready for this and now I’m broken. I will miss you every single day of my life Maui, I will never forget how much joy and love you brought to me and @cmfrench. I can’t stop crying but hopefully in time that will heal but know you are always a part of me and one day we will be together again. My angel. My heart #Maui
A little while back lots of new and old photos of Maui were added to the gallery. Enjoy these amazing shots shared by Ashley, family and friends over the past years. #WeLoveYouMaui #RIPMaui
We’re in love with the shape of Ashley 😉 On Saturday (June 8) Ashley was seen leaving Shape House in Studio City before hosting a dinner for her Merry Happy Whatever cast & crew.

EXCLUSIVE: Ashley Tisdale has joined new CBS comedy series Carol’s Second Act,starring Patricia Heaton, as a series regular. The show, set to air on Thursdays in the fall, hails from Trophy Wife creators Emily Halpern and Sarah Haskins, Aaron Kaplan’s Kapital Entertainment, Heaton and David Hunt’s FourBoys Entertainment and CBS TV Studios.
Tisdale replaces Bonnie Dennison who co-starred in the pilot. She also will continue as a series regular on another upcoming Kapital Entertainment comedy series, Merry Happy Whatever on Netflix.
Written by Halpern and Haskins, Carol’s Second Act centers around Carol Chambers (Heaton), who after raising her two children and retiring from teaching, embarks on a unique second act: she’s going to become a doctor.
Tisdale will play Jenny, Carol’s (Heaton) big-hearted daughter. She is a pharmaceutical rep and covers Carol’s hospital. Jenny loves and is supportive of her mom, and her bubbly and outgoing personality and carefree spirit is a buoyant counterpoint to Carol’s neurotic medical colleagues.
The character is introduced at the very end of the pilot, so reshooting will be minimal. The series’ regular cast also includes Kyle MacLachlan, Ito Aghayere, Jean-Luc Bilodeau and Sabrina Jalees.
Halpern and Haskins executive produce with Heaton, Hunt and Rebecca Stay for FourBoys, Adam Griffin, and Kaplan and Dana Honor for Kapital Entertainment. CBS TV Studios is the studio.
Tisdale also co-starred in the 2018 Kapital Entertainment comedy pilot for CBS Pandas In New York. She is repped by Gersh, Red Light and attorney Chad Christopher.
